| Control Standard for Auto Capital HID ballast |
1. Work voltage: requires the ballast working in 9-17V large scale voltage.
Generally, the ballast works normally in the voltage of 9-17V. OSP ballast can work in the voltage of 7-18.5V.
2. Protect function
(1). Ultra-voltage protection:
When the voltage is above 19V, the ballast stops working automatically, and keeps the output efficiency less than 45W, protects the ballast to avoid the damage of HID bulb.
(2). Work in low voltage and protection:
When the voltage is 7V, the ballast can work normally, but if it is under 6V, the ballast will stop automatically to avoid damage.
(3). No bulb protection:
When the bulb isn't installed, the ballast stops automatically, avoiding injuring the workers.
(4). Short cut protection:
When the ballast is unexpectedly in shortcut, the ballast stops automatically, avoiding the damage.
(5) Anti-connect protection:
When the ballast is installed, operator connect the wire wrong by mistake, the ballast will stop working automatically to ensure no destroy.

When the input voltage is 12.8V, the current isn't less than 8.0A. In the circumstance, the luminosity of HID reaches 20% within 1 second, within 4 seconds the luminosity reaches 80%.
